Tonight was bittersweet. We all gathered on the beach to say farewell to an amazing friend as she heads back to her homeland, the US of A. And I know what you're thinking, but Marlee aren't you meant to be studying for exams? Well I gave up on that. Plus there was no way I'd miss this.
We drank punch and ate chips and lime-ingtons. Yes. Lime lamingtons. The weather was beautiful and we chatted and watched the sunset.
Mmm attractive.
We also got to meet some new people and catch up with some that we haven't seen in forever. It was a beautiful evening and a fitting farewell. However, it may be goodbye for now, but we know we will visit, or she'll come back and visit us.
I'd also like to point out that this is my 100th blog post! Please give me some feedback on the rounded photos as well.
