Parklife has got to be one of my favourite events of the year. I'm fairly sure I've said that before. This year I was working at it scanning tickets and helping out in the cloakroom. Not necessarily exciting stuff but I love working in a festival environment. Unfortunately Melbourne was completely temperamental weather-wise with rain most of the day. That didn't stop most people.
I was walking around during my lunch break and walked past a female singer which I instantly liked. When I got back to my cloakroom post, I discovered that it was a British girl called Charli XCX. I think she may be my new obsession. She's a bit Marina and a bit Kimbra.
Standing at the front gate I saw plenty of drug busts, people wearing next to nothing and then there was all the clothing I wanted to steal.
Also, I recently got a new camera and had a bit too much fun with the fish-eye setting.
Also, here's a little video I made :)
My night ended with the Tame Impala set which I had been hanging out to see all day. Unfortunately I couldn't stay later because I had to run off to a 21st birthday party. We will meet again next year Parklife.
