Today was the official first day of the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and to kick it off, David Jones hosted a runway show at the Melbourne City Square to help everyone get prepared for the Spring Racing Season!
Our beautiful hosts were Emma Freedman (right) and Jesinta Campbell (left) who took us through all the looks and gave us a run down on this season's trends.
We also had Australian racing royalty Gai Waterhouse sitting in the front row admiring the fashion.
Some of the labels featured in the runway show were Camilla and Marc, Thurley, Lover, Jack London, Scanlan & Theodore, and Zimmerman.
Samantha Harris graced us with her presence as she glided down the runway. For those of you know don't know, she is this year's MSFW ambassador.
This year sees a lot of neon, florals and a Great Gadsby feel throughout all the looks.
For the next week there will be so many events on for the MSWF, including a free runway show each day at the Melbourne City Square. Tomorrow's runway show will be shoe brand Wittner. For a full album of David Jones Runway photos, check out the String Of Events Facebook page!
