Australian women's clothing brand Gorman recently had a launch party to celebrate their collaboration with Rhys Lee at Melbourne's GPO. We were treated to wine, beer and mini bean burrito type things. All very yum. The collection features a lot of vibrant prints and classic Gorman cuts.
I was lucky enough to get tickets to this event, so of course, I invited fellow blogger (in crime) Khoa from Oh, That Boy. He also brought along some of the lovely girls from Couturing.com.
I couldn't resist having a look in the Gorman store whilst I was there (well that is what we were meant to be doing, not just drinking and eating) and found these amazing shoes that I would kill for! Wooden clogs with brown leather and pink, transparent neon straps. Perfect for this seasons neon trend.
(ermergerd mini pineapples!)
I also found these, which I would also quite like to own, but I just don't have the money for. One day, one day.
As we left the party, we were greeted by Melbourne's typical drastic change in weather, wind and lots of rain. Let's just say my shoes were less than ideal for wet weather.
We were also given a cute little goodie bag with what I think is a Rhys Lee collaboration scarf/mat type thing (yeah I'm good at life), a hot pink Gorman cactus keyring, nail polish and yummy yummy chocolate!
Thank you so much to Gorman for having us and I hope we get to go to more events like this.
Oh wow, looks like such an awesome event. I love all the prints and patterns in this post - from the people wearing them to the ones on the shoes/clothes!
ReplyDeleteYeah me too! I don't actually own anything Gorman but I really want to! I love it so much but I'm so poor right now hahaha.
DeleteIn Love with all these patterns and colors! Looks like such a neat event. I found your blog via the better bloggers network and I'm so glad I did :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Yeah Gorman is always very unique looking. Glad you found me through BBN. I've found a couple of bloggers on there that I've started following too.
