So life has been a little slow this week. I've had exams and assignments, and there hasn't been much on in Melbourne that I'm interested in/can afford. So I decided to trawl through my old photos to see what I could come up with to tie me over until the weekend. I decided to blog about my trip to Japan in 2007. I know, this was aaagggeess ago, but it was either this or nothing, so I'm going with this.
I was only 15 when I went to Japan on a school trip. I was with most of my closest friends which was amazing and got to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Osaka and Wakayama (I may have forgotten some places but they were the main ones).
Our first stop was Japan's capital Tokyo and we only got to spend a couple of days there which was disappointing and I don't remember much of it at all. One thing I do remember was our brief visit to Harajuku. Harajuku girls are real.
Okay so most of these photos are completely out of order so I'll just randomly talk about them as they come up. Here is myself, my host family and some other people on my trip at Universal Studios. Oh and Marilyn Munro. See if you can guess which one I am. I'll give you a hint, I'm the awkward 15 year old, terribly dressed and braces wearing one.
This is what we woke up to every morning for breakfast. Notice the 2L bottle of Grape Fanta. Mmmm healthy. My host family were amazing.
Going to be honest here, I have no idea where this is, but it's pretty, so enjoy!

Thanks for reading. I'm going to have a fairly exciting post this weekend so look out for that. Until next time xx.
