Toronto & Niagara Falls | Canada!

November 4, 2015

I'd always been told that Toronto was a lot like Melbourne, they're both in the top 5 most livable cities in the world after all. So I was interested to see just how similar it is to the city I call home.
I'm always a sucker for tall buildings with amazing views, so going up the CN Tower was a must. You can never go wrong with a view like that. We then took a stole through the city, hitting up the St Lawrence markets for some poutine for lunch and chasing black squirrels through the gardens.
Day two we jumped on the bus early to head down to Niagara Falls. This was another pinch me moment, we've all seen pictures of Niagara Falls but being there was pretty amazing. First things first we donned our red ponchos and jumped on the boat to get up close and personal with the falls.
The actual town of Niagara was not quite what we expected. It was almost like a mini Vegas. Neon lights and crappy tourist traps. It was such a contract to the natural wonder it's positioned right next to.
