Guess what guys?! I found another new cafe! I really need to stop buying food so often, but seriously, this one is great. I was going to lunch with my friend and we just happen to pass this cafe on the way to the one I'd planned to go to. As you can see by the pictures, it was kind of difficult to walk past. With it's adorable shabby-chic decor Knock Knock really did make me feel like I was at a tea party in Alice In Wonderland. And we all know how I feel about Alice In Wonderland (❤). On each table is a little teacup of free lollies, which I ate quite a few of, and there are little beach box type hidey-holes for you to have a more intimate meal.
I only had a sandwich but it was a pretty darn good one at that. The bread for starters was delicious with crunchy crusts, and it was filled will fresh salad, bacon, cheese and beetroot chutney (from memory). There is also a a pretty delicious sounding made-to-order menu and a scrumptious looking cake selection. It's all reasonably priced too which is always a massive bonus!
This lovely little cafe is located on the corner of Queen Street and
Little Bourke Street in Melbourne - it's pretty hard to miss. As I got chatting to the waitress I found out that it is a family-run business that's only been open for 2 weeks. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or Friday night drinks, Knock Knock has you covered. I know I'll be back there very soon.
