St Jerome's Laneway Festival has been something I've been looking forward to for months. It's always one of the prettiest looking festival, with it's incredible view of the Melbourne skyline, and the fact that everyone looks amazing. It's hard not to try and steal people's clothes. I got there a bit later than I normally would for a festival because it was meant to be 35C but I don't think it ever got that hot though.
My day started with a bit of Cloud Control, who I saw at the 2011 Laneway Festival as well. They're always amazing. I attempted to see Vance Joy on the main stage but had no luck getting close enough.
The main reason I was so excited for Laneway was because I wanted to see Chvrches, Haim and Lorde, unfortunately, this seemed to be the plan for 3/4 of the attendees and it was very difficult to see anything. However they were all amazing, and hearing them play and catching a glimpse of them seemed to be enough for me. I basically had a 3 hour sing-a-long.
