I have to say, this trip has made me a pro at extreme touristing. What is extreme touristing you ask? Well, it's the art of fitting as many touristy things into one day without compromising on the experience of being there. I started the day nice and early at Sydney Tower right as it opened to avoid millions of tourists. What I didn't realise was before you go up, you get treated to a rather hilarious 4D movie experience. This includes getting slightly showered with water, bubbles and smoke machine.
Once at the top, the view was incredible! I took loads of pictures but here are some of my favourites!
Sydney Tower is conveniently located on Pitt Street, a major shopping area. So there was really only one thing I could do afterwards, and that was to shop! I made my way through several shopping centres, The Strand Arcade and Pitt Street itself, but only purchased something from Topshop.
After my little shopping trip, I made my way to Circular Quay. However, in an effort to keep these blog posts at a manageable length, that adventure will be in the next post!
