Bupa Ride To The G

Today started out with beautiful blue skies and sun streaming down for the Bupa Ride To The G. The Bupa Ride To The G is a promotional activity that the global health fund Bupa have organised to promote healthy living and exercise. Our job today was to wear their bright blue uniform (pretty much the colour of the sky in the second picture) and encourage and engage with people. Unfortunately where myself and my team were placed was the area that had mostly cars coming through it. 

I'm not entirely sure how successful the day was but from where I was standing, it looked like it needed to be advertised a bit more or people should've been given more incentive to do it. It didn't help that it started pouring with rain as soon as the AFL game started. Good ol' Melbourne weather.

I was hired for this event through Event Workforce which provide staff to major and minor events in Melbourne. It's a lot of fun and if you're looking for something to bulk up your resume, it's definitely something to get into.

Sorry this post was a little bit boring and I didn't get many pictures. I've got some more events coming up with week that will hopefully make up for it.
