You know you're in Melbourne when you have to walk down a graffiti lined laneway and enter an unmarked brick building to find a party. However it's always an incredible wonderland once you step inside.
I was recently invited to a Day Of The Dead warehouse party in the centre of Melbourne. Once inside it was a sensory overload. Live art, plenty of neon lights (my favourite), great food, live music and, of course, several cocktails to choose from. There was even an area to get your face painted DOTD style. Unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to get my face painted as soon as I got there, and by the time we wanted it done, the wait had dramatically increased.
