The Immersery // MFWF

March 4, 2014

It's that time of the year again when one of Melbourne's biggest festivals rolls out across the city with over 200 delicious events. The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is celebrating it's 21st birthday and one of the major attractions of this year's festival has got to be The Immersery. Located at the Queensbridge Square on Southbank (where the Urban Coffee Farm was last year), The Immersery brings together a kitchen, bar and raingarden. What's a raingarden you ask? A raingarden is much like a regular garden, except it's designed to collect stormwater from downpipes.

The Immersery has teamed up with top local chefs, wineries and bars to bring you some delicious food in your lunch break paired with an amazing view of the Melbourne skyline. Here are some of the scrumptious dumplings on offer when I popped in for a visit.
If you're looking for a unique dining experience in Melbourne, or something to fill in your lunch hour, this will definitely take your fancy. You can read more about it on the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival website.
