Raise The Roof

May 24, 2012

Today I was lucky enough to be invited to the Australian brand Wish's '60s bohemian inspired winter 2012 collection preview, even though I'm not a fashion blogger. I was joined by my partner in crime Bambi Loves Shoes and together we ascended the many flights of stairs to Hub Melbourne on Bourke Street.
The collection features perfectly pretty ladylike styles which range from higher priced genuine fur items (not really my cup of tea) and silky, flowy dresses and kimonos. My personal favourites were the Bracken Fur Coat (middle of the photo below) and the Indulgence Kimono (what I'm wearing three photos below). Of course there were many extremely beautiful items of clothing that I can't wait to get a job and be able to pay for.

Me wearing the Indulgence Kimono.

We had a great conversation with the lovely girls who work for Wish about fashion, Hub Melbourne and work. We also had a quick sticky around Hub Melbourne which was a bit of a rabbit warren of stylishly decorated break-out rooms, most of which were painted various greens.

I'm not sure when it goes in stores but it's available online now. You can purchase Wish in Myer or David Jones or at their eBoutique. If you want to see more photos of individual items, Bambi Loves Shoes will also be doing a post about Wish.

Free Stuff:
One Day Free Pass at Hub Melbourne
$10 Off at Miss Fox Melbourne
Free Fudge (sorry can't remember the company name)
