Whilst in Brisbane we popped into the Ponycat Cafe for breakfast before heading out on our touristing adventures. My friend had heard good things about this place and with a craving for eggs, we decided to give it a go.

South Bank is probably Brisbane's number one tourist spot, so of course we had to go and check it out. I have a bit of a love of ferris wheels so going on the Wheel Of Brisbane was a number one priority.

I'm slowly becoming more adventurous with pizza toppings and a visit to Tartufo Ristorante in Emporium Brisbane gave me the perfect reason to try something new.

One of the coolest places I explored in Brisbane has got to be the suburb of West End. It's full of bohemian clothing boutiques and laid-back eateries, wandering around the streets was a delight.

I've had a bit of an obsession with Japan for pretty much all my life now. It's probably stemmed from the fact that I learned Japanese for 10 years of my life and also went on exchange to Japan when I was 15. So this exhibition really tickled my fancy.

If you've got a bit of cash to spend, James Street in Fortitude Valley is where you'll want to head. Consisting almost entirely of Australian designers, with a few international ones thrown into the mix too, you're sure to pick up something absolutely gorgeous here.
