So when I went to Harbour Town the other day, I tried on this dress and loved the skirt and the colour, but the top was a bit small. I decided to buy it anyway with the intention of covering up the top anytime I wore it. So I found three different ways I can wear it.

Festival's are a bit like a toned down version of halloween, in that you can wear almost anything and get away with it. However amoungst all the crazy costumes, you also find some great personal style. I found these lovely ladies who I thought looked amazing and I hope you do too.

MSFW12 Day 5 | French Connection

It was French Connection's turn to take to the runway today on the 5th day of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. Their spring/summer collections focused heavily on primary colours red, yellow and blue, with variations of each. There was also a strong sorbet pastel influence, and some key metallic and sequinned pieces. 

Whitney Eve

I had the pleasure of attending an intimate gathering with Whitney Port at Sportsgirl in Melbourne as she launched her WE by Whitney Eve line. Whitney's new line is a combination of cherry red and faded florals, perfect for the Australian summer. 

Blast From The Past | Big Day Out 2010

So the Big Day Out 2013 line-up is out and I thought I'd take this chance to write about my first major music festival experience, Big Day Out 2010. What a day. Big Day Out 2010 was the first time I'd ever seen my favourite band Kasabian as well (I've seen the 3 more times since). They were pretty much the whole reason why I agreed to go. The total attendance of all the Big Day Out festivals in 2010 was 337,248 people, which is massive.

Jinja Safari

So I saw Jinja Safari on Friday night and i have to say I was very impressed. From their grand entrance which featured the much controversial vuvuzela, their sound like the CD talent and adorable prayer flag decorations. The lighting was also amazing and really added something special to the ambiance. 

However in saying this, I was very disappointed with the crowd who were talking so loudly you could hear it over the music, the venue at the Prince Bandroom is less than ideal anyway, and the band didn't come on stage until 10.40pm when doors opened at 8.30pm.
