Listen Out Festival 2014

October 5, 2014

This is the second year in a row that I've worked at Listen Out festival and I always have a great time. It's such a chilled day and with great live music playing in the background, what more could you ask for?
I was working at the front gate for the day, which is where the real entertainment is! I know I shouldn't, but I really get a kick out of watching gatecrashers getting escorted out by security and seeing the creative and not so creative ways that people try and con their way into the festival without legitimate tickets.
Of course the whole reason for the festival is the lineup, which keeps getting bigger and better. This year saw a favourite of mine Chet Faker take to the stage, which I really wanted to see, but hearing him play was good enough (for now). Flume headlined the night with other acts like Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Schoolboy Q and ZHU preceding him.
Definitely a cool new festival to hit the scene and I think it'll only get bigger from here (R.I.P Parklife).
