Trying to get a room full of bloggers to shut up is a difficult task, but somehow Kidspot managed to do just that with their amazing and informative Voices Of 2013 Melbourne Masterclass! We all gathered at the Smart Artz Gallery (hehe - get it?) in South Melbourne to be educated and enlightened by some of blogging's finest. Our first speaker was the wonderful Aleisha McCormack (I'm Doing My Best, Comedian, The Circle reporter) who spoke about finding your brand, making ideas happen and being creative with not much ($$ wise).

Just thought I'd share a couple of my favourite tunes at the moment with you. I've had these three songs on repeat for a while now - take a listen! Please let me know what songs you've got on repeat at the moment in the comments. I love finding new music!

The other night I went out to dinner with my best friend from primary school who's down from Brisbane, where she now lives. I've managed to see her two times in one year which doesn't normally happen, but I think the awesomeness of Melbourne is drawing her back. We decided we wanted to go out for Asian food, which there is definitely no shortage of in Melbourne, but somehow managed to find one that wasn't very good. My friend said her meal was good, but they brought out my meal 15mins after hers and the chicken in the curry was cold. It tasted okay, but we definitely could've done better.

A Quirk Of Fate is a charming little fashion and homewares store nestled in amongst the shops on High St, Northcote. Now if you live in this area you're probably familiar with AQOF because it's about a year old now, however they've just launched their brand new website and online store! We were invited by fellow Melbourne blogger Vulette (Young Red Violets) who's just joined the team to help out with social media. I'd never been to Northcote, and AQOF was only a 5min walk from Northcote station, so Tori (Soda Style Pop) and I decided we'd head down to check it out!

One of the best things about having a friend from the UK is being able to do all the touristy things in Melbourne again and feel like I have a legitimate reason to be there. Today was The Queen's Birthday public holiday in Australia and the perfect time to take Fran (Then Let's Begin) to the Melbourne Zoo. So here's some snaps of my favourite animals of the day, and a little outfit post.

I have to admit that this is about 2 months old now, but better late than never hey!
Sretsis is the creation of New Yorker and Parsons School of Design graduate Pim
Sukhahuta, and is sure to build a cult following as she gains more traction in
the international market. The I Heart U All Over Again collection is
definitely all about the love with heart-covered prints, lovely lace and
flowing dresses.

EAT.ME.DO is an Australian jewellery label that's just launched at Lenko Boutique. With scrumptious looking designs, it was hard to know what was for sale, and what we could eat! There was killer pythons, giant gummy bears and donuts - and that was just the jewellery! We were also treated to some gummy lollies, candy bracelets and lollypops. Check out the vibrant pics from the Lenko launch!
